Step 1:        Backup current D:\Kronos\connect directory or verify that recent backup was taken by veritas

 

Step 2:        Unzip install files to D:\knxv5install

 

Step 3:  Launch setup.exe as shown below

 

Step 4:        Click Next

 

Step 5:        Click “No”.[1]

 

 

Step 6:  Choose “Workforce Connect Client and Server” radio button:

 

 


Step 7:  Configure the connect v5 registry as shown below.  Click next.

 

 

Step 8:  Accept the settings by clicking “Next”.

 

 

Step 9:  Click on install.

 

 

Step 10:  The install runs quickly in under a minute, typically.

 

 

 

Step 11:  Choose whether to restart your server.

 

 

You are done.

Optionally, you can check at kronos.com customer site for any Service Packs and apply them to your connectv5 install.

 

This is done by downloading the appropriate service pack to the machine where the connect is installed (in this case ykktasc) and then clicking on the file (it is a winzip self extractor) and then extracting the files to the appropriate connect directory, in this case:

 

D:\kronos\connect5.
