Note: Throughout this document, please replace the phrase yourdomain.com with your registered Domain Name. The words username and password allways refer to your username and password that we emailed to you in your web activation notice.

Creating web pages : Our servers support files created on all of the most popular HTML Editors such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, Adobe Go Live, etc. If you don't have any editing software, you can find shareware, demos, and free programs at: Cnet's download.com, and at: freewarehome.com - There's some nice Web Building Tutorials at Tucows.com.

You can use our Free Web Site Generator to create a 3 page website. It' very easy to use, once you learn how to Properly Save your Pages. We will be adding new designs to it frequently, and it's free for everybody!

=>There is also a Free Online HTML Generator at 3zWeb.com . . . (they can also apply a professional Design to your Free Pages to give them a nice look for as little as $10 each)

SAVE each page you create to your hard drive using the extension .htm - name your homepage index.htm
(keep your page names simple . . . such as contact.htm, about.htm, services.htm, products.htm, etc.)

To upload your files Immediately: You will have to use the File Manager inside your Cpanel

*It takes 24-72 hours for your DNS information to resolve to our web servers.

To upload your files using FTP: You will need to configure your FTP Program to connect to your site first, before you can upload any files. If you don't have an FTP program, click here (we recommend WSFTP -it's free).

FTP Setting Information:
FTP Server name: FTP.YOURDOMAIN.COM   <= (Replace with your Domain Name)
host directory or document root directory is /public_html/
Login or Username: username
Password: password
Important =>upload your files to the /public_html/ folder
upload your HTML / TXT / Perl in ASCII / TEXT mode

Note: A site created with FrontPage should NOT be uploaded through FTP or some of the features will not work. To learn how to properly upload you files using FrontPage, read our FrontPage Tutorial

To access your control panel: All of your website administration tasks (setting up email accounts, viewing website statistics, creating autoresponders, password protection, etc.) can easily be performed with your Cpanel.

Your Web Contol Panel can be accessed at either of these URL's:
http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel/login     or
http://www.yourdomain.com:2082
> Login : username
> Password : password

Your Cpanel links (above) will only work after your Domain Name System (DNS) settings have resolved to our server. If you want to access your Cpanel before then, you can still get in using this link:
       http://www.2serveu.net:2082
       > Login : username
       > Password : password

Note: It takes the Cpanel about a minute to begin displaying it's features . . . that is normal, so please be patient. You can begin using it as soon as the links appear.
Cpanel Help: There is extensive documentation on all the features of the Cpanel. You can find it anytime your Cpanel is loaded by clicking on the "Documentation" link at the bottom of the screen. There is also a Cpanel Help Page on our site.

Important files and tips:

• name you Homepage index.htm or index.html for it to automatically load when someone goes to http://www.yourdomain.com. This also works for any folders that you have, such as http://www.yourdomain.com/Products would look for a file in that folder named index.htm or index.html, and automatically load it.
• remember that our system is SeNsItIvE to upper and lower case directory and file names. This also applies to your Username & Password for Cpanel and email accounts.
• don't delete the preset directories /etc /mail /public_ftp /public_html /tmp /www /cgi-bin/, otherwise you won't be able to log in!!
• don't delete the postinfo.html page or the _vti directories (they contain information important to FrontPage
• Important - after uploading cgi-bin scripts, CHMOD to 755 . . . links to cgi tutorials
• path to sendmail > usr/sbin/sendmail
• path to PERL > usr/bin/perl
