We were probably better off when people did everything and there were no computers. People are the best. They are more reliable and cost effective than any machine.

But the machines have come, much as they did in the Terminator movies, and they are probably here to stay. But just as we saw in Terminator, if you'll forgive the analogy, we saw how an older model T1000 was still able to carry out it's programming more effectively than the newer "liquid metal" models. It's an amazing fact, but it is nevertheless true, that older equipment and free programs can sometimes do a better job than the latest and greatest high-priced software. With our 10 years of industry experience, we've seen it over and over. The most profitable companies were the ones that knew when to hold off on upgrades and expensive new hardware, and when to take the hit and upgrade. Today, there are even more options. There is a huge pool now of dedicated hard-working programmers, who have their own personal reputation on the line when they offer you the use of their open-source programs that have more "heart". We are going to build you a system with a heart. The best situation is always when the needs and aims of both parties coincide, because then what might otherwise be a self-interest, becomes a common interest, and great progress can be achieved.

That's our philosophy at NetSRC. We're going to give you the truth, as best we know it. We're going to dig and search for the latest open source solutions to your system needs, and we are also going to listen to you. We're going to steer you to the free stuff first, and then if it can't handle your needs, only then will we suggest the expensive "enterprise" software that has the $$$ pricetags.

What we Cannot Do ! We can't guarantee we can solve all your system needs. We aren't always the right company, and if we aren't, we'll let you know quickly so that you can find the right people for your project.

What we Can Do: We can show you all the options that we know about that are low-cost or almost free and help you to determine if these systems can satisfy your company needs. Awareness of what is available is critical. If you buy a car, and then find out later you could have gotten in for much much less at another dealer, how are you going to feel ? Trust us, we are veterans of the IT industry, and we've seen our share of over-budget, out-of-scope, cost-prohibitive systems that never should have been built. We want you to have the quiet system that does what it should and is a keeper.
